In 2023, Chattanooga’s talented young artists from the SPLASH Youth Arts Workshop program took part in the Jiangsu International Youth Painting Contest in Wuxi, China—Chattanooga's sister city.

The Jiangsu contest has attracted over 300,000 participants from 100+ sister cities across 50 countries, playing a significant role in international youth cultural exchange.SPLASH students were rewarded for their concentrated efforts in the classroom and took home 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place awards and one honorable mention.
SPLASH heartily appreciates the City of Chattanooga’s Office of Arts, Culture, and Creative Economy and the Chattanooga Sister Cities Association for including SPLASH students in this marvellous opportunity.
